Homemade All-Purpose FlavouringThis easy-to-make, herby mix is just the thing for seasoning and flavouring your home cooking! Using a blend of spices and dried herbs, it can be used for numerous dishes: soups, stews, casseroles, vegetables and rice and bean dishes etc... Makes about 8 tbsp2 tbsp coriander seeds2 tbsp dried rosemary 1 tbsp dried basil 1 tbsp dried thyme 4 tsp cumin seeds 2 tsp peppercorns 2 tsp paprika 2 tsp chili powder 2 tsp sea salt 2 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp onion powder 6-7 dried bay leaves tbsp = tablespoon Directions:
That's all there is to it! Store in an airtight container out of direct sunlight. Use within 2-3 months. Note:You could dry toast the cumin, peppercorns and coriander seeds before grinding.
