Homemade Biryani Masala MixIf you're into making authentic Indian food then I recommend you make a biryani masala! Super easy-to-make, it'll add fabulous flavours and aromas to your dishes. Makes about 8 tbsp3 tbsp coriander seeds1 tbsp green cardamom pods 1 tbsp peppercorns 1 tbsp fenugreek seeds 4 tsp cumin seeds 2 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp onion powder 1 tsp whole cloves 3 inch piece of cinnamon 8-10 dried bay leaves 2 tsp salt tbsp = tablespoon Directions:
That's all there is to it! Store in an airtight container out of direct sunlight. Use within 3 months. Note: You could dry toast the peppercorns, coriander, cloves, fenugreek and cumin seeds before grinding. This really brings out their flavours and aromas!
