Peppermint is a herb we all should add more of to our diet due to its its numerous health, well-being and vitality benefits. And homemade peppermint tea is a very easy and tasty way to achieve this. Making your own is very quick and simple to do, and before long you'll be brewing and enjoying a healthy herbal tea! So, if you're into making homemade herbal and spiced drinks then this is the recipe for you! (See the bottom of the page for more of homemade spice mixes, and herb blends)
What You'll Need: (makes 2 cups)
A handful of fresh mint leaves
4 tsp loose green tea leaves
Optional sweetener e.g honey/sugar/agave nectar etc
Enough water for 2 cups
tsp = teaspoon

This is very similar to the above but using dried herbs instead of fresh. You use it just like you would with loose tea leaves and whilst maybe not as tasty or have quite the same health benefits, it still does have various well-being and medicinal uses...

2 tbsp dried mint
4 tsp loose green tea

tbsp = tablespoon
tsp = teaspoon
