A pumpkin pie spice mix recipe has to be the quickest and easiest blend to put together! And if you've never made your own before, this is the perfect one to start with. Using only four ingredients, it will add superb flavours and mouthwatering aromas to all your puddings and desserts and not just pumpkin. (See the bottom of the page for links to more of my recipes)
Ingredients: (makes about 8 tablespoons)
4 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp ginger powder
1 tbsp ground nutmeg
2 tsp ground cloves
2 tsp ground allspice berries
tbsp = tablespoon
tsp = teaspoon

That's all there is to it! Couldn't be any easier.
Store your homemade pumpkin pie spice in a cool place, in an airtight jar and out of direct sunlight. Use within 3 months.
Note: Normally I recommend you use certain whole ingredients as they give the best flavours. However, the recipe above uses pre-ground powders and is ideal if you want a tasty pumpkin mix in literally seconds!
